Until you understand the fundamentals of the market, the reasons behind why prices move and are able to perform your own analysis of the raw data, you should not be a market participant.

Trading in this market should be done only by professionals that have had years of training underneath an active and successful trader. I don’t think robotic/automated trading will help us because it could only doing one part in calculating forex movement. In my eye, there are 3 factors influenced forex movement: fundamentals, technical aspects, and market sentiments. I’ve been telling most of my investors’ friends for not using any automatic system.

Why?…the maximum accuracy provided by robotic/automatic system is not more than 33%, because they could not calculate fundamentals and market sentiments, so the remaining of 67% will be remaining as a very painful hammer to the users.

In order to be successful in trading/investing at currency/forex, you have provide yourself with a lot of hardworks, readings, studies and ressearches. 13 years ago, when I was a beginner investor in stocks, options, commodities and forex, the first 3 years was very painful with lots of loosing and agony. I think that your idea is too far removed from being sales ready to make it doable without huge cash investments. Think of something simple and easy. You don’t need to do something earth shattering- just make a good, plain jane product or service that people will enjoy or find indispensable. Do yourself a favor and pick something more manageable. I have used many of the popular forex trading software available on the internet today and many of them do work very well. Its just a matter of how easy some of them are to set up with your account and which ones outperform the others. With the FAS system you mentioned, it is a good system and you can start with a very little amount to make it work too, which is nice. However, you have to remember that when you start with such a small amount, you need to give the software more time than you normally would to start seeing the results you would like.
